Author Bio:
I am a 43 year old Lesbian mother of two, now grown, children - A daughter 23 and a son 20. I am currently in a relationship and soon to be married. I was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, Oct. 9, 1967.
I began writing in grammar school, mostly little kid stories from my wild childhood imagination which then turned into expressing my feelings and emotions through poetry once I entered middle school.
I have worked since I was 17 years old when I joined the Air Force. Spent 10 years in the USAF and was "laid off" with the military cutbacks at the time.
From that time I have bounced from one job to the next ranging from tele-marketer to corrections to pipe fitting. Through it all, one thing never changed ..... I never stopped writing.
I have been published in a Poetry Anthology titled " Voices" through Iliad Press Copyright 1995 ISBN: 1-885206-25-9.
Library of Congress Catalog Number: 95-069741. I have also been published in another Poetry Anthology titled "From Silver Fountains" through Poetry.com and the International Library of Poetry by Watermark Press Copyright 2000.
ISBN 1-58235-151-1.
On January 1,2010, I decided to start being more serious about my writing and on January 17, 2010 I began writing a fiction novella titled "Casualty of War". I completed the manuscript on December 12, 2010 and sent it out to Publish America, Artemis Press and a few others on December 13, 2010.
